Lynne Spears has filed legal paperwork to become more involved with her daughter’s conservatorship. Since Britney Spears entered a mental health facility, her fans have risen up with a large outcry demanding that her conservatorship end. According to reports, not everyone agrees that is the best move for the 37-year-old singer and mother of two. Britney’s father, Jamie Spears is currently her conservator and Lynne wants to be included in her daughter’s care.
There are mixed reports about Britney’s current condition with some saying she is doing well and is on the mend while other reports say she is having difficulty obtaining the right medication and struggling. Britney has used social media multiple times to say she is doing well and has done her best to reassure her fans that she is okay.
For Britney’s fans who feel that her care has been mishandled, news that Lynne Spears wants more involvement was met with cheers and celebration on social media networks.
On Tuesday, the #freeBritney hashtag continued to trend as news spread that legal action had been filed.
Some suspect that due to Jaime Spears’ current health issues, Lynne wants to make sure the steps are in place should she need to eventually take over the conservatorship.
Reports also say that Lynne Spears is currently living with Britney and the two are working together to ensure Britney is getting the best care possible.
You may see a report from TMZ where they say that Britney is in a rough place. Many of Britney’s fans who support the #FreeBritney movement do not agree with this report and feel that Britney is capable of taking care of herself.
