#FreePorsha: Porsha Williams Has Been Arrested While Protesting For Breonna Taylor And Fans Call For Her To Be Freed

Porsha Williams has been living in her civil rights activist legacy. The Real Housewives of Atlanta star has been arrested while protesting for the cops who are responsible for the murder of Breonna Taylor to be arrested.

On Dennis McKinley’s Instagram page, the business owner posted a flyer for a peaceful protest in Louisville, Kentucky. Hours later, he uploaded footage of Porsha being escorted by a police officer.

Her sister, Lauren, shared the same video along with a photo of Porsha’s grandfather Hosea Williams who was a prominent civil rights activist.

Her caption read: ‘@porsha4real 💫 She has always been fearless. You mess with her people, you mess with her. She takes the case of #breonnataylor personally and she’s sacrificing work, time with her loved ones, and her comfort to make sure the offenders are held accountable for their actions. This is her passion, this is her purpose. Almost immediately after the story was reposted by Bravo fan pages, fans called for the release of the RHOA star. The news is upsetting because this would be the second time Williams was treated unfairly while demonstrating peacefully.

Just weeks ago when the protests first started happening, Porsha was pepper-sprayed.

One fan wrote: ‘Love Porsha, this is b******. The killers are STILL FREE, but folks protesting the murders get arrested.’

Another added: ‘She should be released immediately.’

While this fan simply declared: ‘FREE PORSHA IMMEDIATELY 🗣🗣🗣🗣 PERIODT.’

‘God I am so PROUD OF HER ahhhh we don’t deserve her. Now let her go!!’ added this commentator.

Porsha recently opened up about her activism.

In a powerful essay she penned for Juneteenth, the mother of one wrote: ‘To me, this day means that people can right their wrongs and change can be made. What has gone on in America is not acceptable. But hopefully one day it can be corrected. Maybe that one day will be in my lifetime, or maybe it will be in my daughter’s lifetime. The protests over the past few weeks have shown that we all hope this country is headed towards reform. We have come together as a nation in a way we never have before. The injustice that has been ignored for decades is being recognized and supported worldwide. Juneteenth is a chance to keep that momentum going and a chance for people who haven’t celebrated the day in the past to do so.’

Hopefully, Porsha is released as soon as possible.
