French Montana has been busy getting his name in the headlines over the last few months. On occasion, he’ll get his name out there for innocuous comments, and on others, he’ll get in the news for feuds like his social media dispute with Young Thug.

With that in consideration, Tekashi 6ix9ine has been getting more attention than ever following his release to home confinement. The artist, who was incarcerated for his involvement with the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods, came back home and uploaded a record-breaking Instagram Live session and also accrued massive views on his new song, “GOOBA,” which even beat Eminem’s past record.

French Montana, regardless of Tekashi 6ix9ine’s behavior, isn’t impressed with what Daniel Hernandez, 23, has been up to. During an interview recently, Montana claimed that he wouldn’t be able to lay his head to rest at night if it were him.

According to Hot New Hip Hop, French Montana, during a conversation with Bootleg Kev on 92.3 LA, discussed Tekashi’s rise to fame and the two offered their own takes on the 6ix9ine dilemma. Montana said to Bootleg Kev that it wasn’t “going to last.”

You can see what French had to say about the ordeal in the YouTube video below:

Montana pointed to a number of issues with 6ix9ine, including when Hernandez donated money to No Kid Hungry but they denied the sum of money on account of moral conflicts. French Montana went on to say that 6ix9ine has convinced himself that “snitching is cool now.”

According to French Montana, it’s all about doing things that make it easier to sleep at night, and if he did something like that, it simply wouldn’t be right. The rapper went on to say that he wouldn’t even have the guts to put on a live show after snitching on someone.

Furthermore, Montana claimed if he were to rat out his associates at this point in his life, his career would end permanently. However, as some social media users have noted, their audience base is completely different. Tekashi 6ix9ine is a lot more popular with the younger crowd.
