The cast of Fuller House is standing by Lori Loughlin despite her involvement in the college bribery scheme, “Operation Varsity Blues.”
Although none of the cast members have spoken out specifically about the scandal and Loughlin, last night at the Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Awards, it became clear they are sticking by her. Fuller House won the award for Favorite Comedy, and the acceptance speech was all about family.
“You’ve been laughing alongside our family for four seasons. And this family has a lot of heart. And where there’s a lot of heart, there’s a lot of love. And a loving family sticks together no matter what. They stick together through the hard times, they support each other, they encourage one another, they pray for each other, and they stand by their side, no matter how tough it gets,” shared Andrea Barber, who then pulled her friends Candice Cameron-Bure and Jodi Sweetin close to her.

The actress, who plays Kimmy Gibbler on the show, was not the only one to reiterate the message. Cameron-Bure added her two cents, making a subtle but powerful statement.
“And a loving family that sticks together also celebrates the really good times together,” the actress, who plays DJ Fuller stated.
Ever since the news of the college admissions scandal broke, the cast of Fuller House has chosen to keep quiet. John Stamos attempted to divert attention by posting a picture of his adorable son but did not comment on his costar. Instead, he dedicated the video of his 11-month-old boy to “those of us who need it today.”
The same goes for Bob Saget, Dave Coulier, Sweetin, and Cameron-Bure, they have all stayed silent. People magazine reported that the Fuller House cast was doing their best to shield the younger cast members from the scandal, as Loughlin was beloved by everyone on set.
Although the Fuller House cast is supporting their long-time costar, Netflix is not. It was revealed last week the actress and Aunt Becky will not appear in the fifth and final season of the show. The powers that be claim it is because there were no plans to be bring the character, which seemed odd considering it was the last season.
The Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Awards turned out to be a winning evening for the cast of Fuller House. They won and subtly defended their friend, Lori Loughlin. Guess that answers the question of whether or not any of the cast will speak out in regard to the scandal.
