The young boy, Zion Malachi Airamis Wade, posed for a series of fun-filled pictures with his stepmother who delightfully flashed her signature peace sign. Zion’s older brother Zaire Wade was also present to show love.

Dwyane, who was not able to attend but did post photos from the event, captioned them: “We support each other with pride.”

He added: “Zion had his own cheering section today. Wish I was there to see you smile.”

Zaire shared a sweet photo with his little brother and said these kind words to him: “Love you bro, no matter what. Gotcha back, kid. Support gang!”

Some are applauding the family, while others say the child is too young to be at the event.

One defender of the family said: “This made me so happy and seeing all these stupid people upset in the comments made me happy too.♥️”

While appearing on ESPN show, The Jump, Dwyane revealed that he has plans to go to therapy sessions to help him after he retires from the NBA.

He stated: “I’ll be in therapy. I already told my wife, we need to do it a little bit. I was always against it, someone who doesn’t know me, telling me how to live my life and giving me instructions. I need somebody to talk to about it because it’s a big change and I have a long life to live, and there’s other great things I can accomplish. I have no idea what it is yet that I want to do. But, I want to do a little bit of everything. I want to see what I can be great at. I’m so used to being great at something.”

One fan said: “Man, we are immensely proud of you, and you rest assured you have so many amazing things to look forward to! Your legacy is only going to get brighter!!! We love you!”

Another commenter wrote: “I hope a lot of men follow that. Awesome for you. This changes to the game for African American brothers and people in general. I love you two guys my congratulations on the new baby she is adorable. You will always be in my prayers.”
