‘Today’s #Wcw is beauty and grace personified: @michaeladeprince. Michaela is a ballerina currently dancing with the Boston Ballet – and she has had to overcome so much to get where she is today. After being Born in war-torn Sierra Leone, she lost both her parents, and at a young age developed vitiligo, a condition that causes patches of skin to lose its color,’ Gabrielle captioned her post.

She continued and said: ‘She was abandoned by her remaining family and sent to an orphanage. But at this orphanage she caught a glimpse of a ballerina in a magazine – and her obsession began. Flash-forward she has co-authored a book, starred in a feature film, been named one of the most Inspiring Women in the World by Time, and Forbes 30 Under 30 in Art & Culture. You are a shining light Michaela! Let us lift her up in the light of goodness and hold her there.’
