After Amanda Seales’ quick and Tamera Mowry‘s sudden exit, The Real was left without two hosts. Garcelle Beauvais was announced as the new permanent host yesterday but Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fans want to know: will she do both?
This is Garcelle’s first season of RHOBH and although Kyle Richards claims that she was unable to get to know Garcelle because she ‘wasn’t around’ enough — fans couldn’t get enough of what they saw.
Garcelle’s quick wit, funny humor, and get-straight-to-the-point attitude made her a fan favorite.
She was already an actress who was booked and busy, but the Jamie Foxx Show alum is going to be even busier now that she’s been revealed as the new opinionated queen on the daytime talk show.
She explained via Instagram: ‘I am beyond beyond excited to share this news that I am the new cohost of @therealdaytime anyone who knows me knows that I love pop culture I love the news I love talking about it I love sharing my opinion and to be sitting at the table with these amazing women @comiclonilove @adriennebailon @thejeanniemai Will be an honor and a blast #talkshow #newhost.’
This comes after Hollywood Life reported that Beauvais blew away producers at the screen test.
‘Garcelle blew them away. She is such a natural talker that it really was an effortless audition session. She tested against six other women. There were seven women in total. And she truly blew everyone away. All great personalities aren’t natural talkers. She has a definitive opinion and doesn’t mind sharing it. Whether they were talking about celebrities, parenting, or politics, she was so well-read on every issue.’
This was not a huge surprise considering she has a podcast that gets people talking called Going to Bed with Garcelle.
As far as if she will opt-in for another season of RHOBH, it seems to be up to Denise Richards. The two are close friends in real life and made a pact that if one doesn’t go back — the other won’t either.
