Gavin Rossdale On Parenting With Ex Gwen Stefani And Blake Shelton 'We're Doing The Best We Can'

Nearly four years after their split, Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale continue to successfully co-parent their three boys – Kingston, 12, Zuma, 10 and Apollo, 5. And, Rossdale says he wants Stefani to be happy with her boyfriend, Blake Shelton.

Rossdale recently spoke with Us Weekly at the world premiere of John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum, and he joked that he and Stefani are managing to keep the kids fed and get them to school on time. Then he got serious for a moment and revealed that things are going well with the family post-divorce.

“They [the boys] are doing really good. They’re really happy, and that’s it. We’re doing the best we can.” That’s all anyone can really do, right?” said Rossdale.

The 53-year-old Bush frontman attended the event with 26-year-old model Natalie Golba, and it isn’t clear if they are a couple. However, she had her hand around his arm while they walked the red carpet, seemingly confirming some kind of romance.

Golba is four years younger than Rossdale’s oldest child, 30-year-old Daisy Lowe, who he had with his ex, Pearl Lowe.

However, most fans are familiar with Rossdale’s relationship with Stefani since the couple were together for nearly two decades and married for 14 years at the height of their fame. In 2017, Rossdale said that he and Stefani had 20 years together, which is a lifetime.

“I still think she’s incredible. It was a lovely 20 years, and we have three amazing children. There were a lot of positives, and with time they’ll become more and more obvious. The unconditional love she shows me is so powerful. It’s one of the greatest gifts, and I’m grateful for her every day,” said Rossdale.

As for how Blake Shelton fits into the picture, he has bonded with Rossdale and Gwen Stefani’s sons and appears to have taken a stepfather role. Shelton gets along well with the boys, and The Voice coach has said many times how much he loves spending time with the kids.

Some reports have claimed that Gavin Rossdale is struggling with how close his sons have gotten to Shelton, but he knows that the country singer is a great guy, and the boys love going fishing and “doing country things” with him.

It looks like this family has reached a good place after going through so much drama!
