Fans of the royal family but also the media, have been focusing on the fact that Meghan Markle might be giving birth to her and Prince Harry’s baby any day now! That being said, it looks like CBS This Morning anchor Gayle King is also getting ready to travel to the U.K. for a royal baby special!
Earlier today, while in attendance at the Time 100 Gala, Brooke Anderson chatted with King and the woman jokingly speculated about some of the monikers the royal couple might go with for their firstborn bundle of joy.
Of course King has no idea what Meghan and Harry will be naming their blue-blooded baby but she is certain ‘they’ll come up with something’ great.
That did not stop her from assuming that they will choose a more traditional one, like the Royals seem to always be doing.
She joked that ‘I don’t think the baby’s name will be Shaniqua or Raheem. I don’t think that.’
King also revealed that she is set to fly to London next week for a CBS News special Meghan and Harry Plus One.
That means that she and many other journalists will be heavily covering the royal baby news.
That’s right, much like their May wedding, the whole world is keeping an eye on Harry and Meghan and looking forward to meeting their offspring.
The two’s love story is as rare as they come and so is their child – making history for the monarchs.
After all, Meghan Markle is the first biracial person to enter the Royal family and that means their multi-racial baby is also a first.
And he or she is also one of the only royal babies to qualify for U.S. citizenship immediately after being born!
