George Clooney Admits He Realized His Life Had Been So ‘Un-Full’ Before Meeting Wife Amal

George Cooney was one of the most famous bachelors in Hollywood for a long time but ever since he married his wife, Amal, he has realized he was missing out on a lot! According to the actor, before meeting her, he felt like his life was full only to then realize that was far from the case!

Fortunately for him, true love was able to fill the ‘huge empty space’ left in his heart by being single for so long.

As fans remember, Clooney was married to actress Talia Balsam before but it ended in divorce back in 1993.

After that, it really appeared like Clooney would remain a bachelor for the rest of his life!

During a GQ interview, he opened up about his thoughts at the time: ‘I was like, ‘I’m never getting married. I’m not gonna have kids.’ I’m gonna work, I have great friends, my life is full, I am doing well. And I did not know how un-full it really was until I met Amal. And then everything changed. I was like, ‘Oh, this has actually been a huge empty space.’’

George and Amal met each other in 2013 and it sounds like it was love at first sight!

The following year, they tied the knot, wasting no more time!

Clooney tells the same news outlet that marrying Amal was interesting because he had ‘never been in the position where somebody else’s life was infinitely more important to me than my own. You know? And then stack on 2 more individuals, who are small and have to be fed.…’

Of course, he was referring to their twins, Alexander and Ella, who were born in 2017.

During the interview, the star talked about his quarantine life as well, revealing that he hasn’t left his house for most of the year.

However, he’s still made the best of the situation.

‘I cut my own hair, I cut my kids’ hair, and I am mopping it and vacuuming and doing laundry and doing the dishes every day. I feel like my mother in 1964. You know, I understand why she burned her bra,’ he joked.
