George Clooney Reveals He Was Never 'Fully In Love' Before Meeting Amal

George Clooney and his wife, Amal are obviously very happy together and in love but, as it turns out, the famous Hollywood actor never really fell in love fully before meeting the gorgeous human rights attorney! Clooney was indeed a bachelor for a very long time and most people did not think they would get to see him settle down.

But when true love finally knocked on his door, he definitely let it in!

It took the couple less than a year of dating before they tied the knot in 2014 and they now share twins as well!

During an interview for The New York Times, the actor explained that before meeting his wife, he would always put his job before his romances.

‘I had not found the person that filled everything up for me, that would’ve made me fully in love. I dated a lot of terrific women, but Amal showed up and it suddenly was like, ‘Well, this is different on each level for me.’ I do not think I was actively saying, ‘I am just going to work on my career and I am not going to have a wife.’ That was the story that got told about me, but it was not really the reality.’

George Clooney was linked to a number of women before finally meeting Amal but when it comes to official, public romances, he’s only had a few.

For instance, he dated model Stacy Keibler from 2011 to 2013 and also had some romance with Elisabetta Canalis for a couple of years before that.

Last month, while chatting with CBS Sunday Morning’s Tracy Smith, the actor gushed over his wife once again and he had some sweet things to say about their relationship as well.

‘There’s no question that having Amal in my life changed everything for me. No question. It was the first time everything she did and everything about her was infinitely more important than anything about me.’
