First, they called Joe Biden “Uncle Biden” in memes referring to him as being “creepy” after an onslaught of photos showed the former vice president getting a bit too touchy with women over the years. Now, the Internet is calling him Grandpa Biden and suggesting his teeth nearly fell out while participating in the Democratic 2020 Presidential Debate on Thursday night.

At 76-years-old, Biden needs to present himself as younger than his years and with longevity to last throughout a full-term presidency. He also needs to present as someone who is in full use of his mental faculties. Suggesting that today’s youth should listen to more records to learn more words during Thursday’s Democratic debate was a faux pas the presidential candidate could do without and one the Internet will not easily let him forget.

Joe Biden was speaking about ways to help bridge inequality in schools, specifically about race relations and reparations when he began what many people called, incoherent rambling. Here is a video of how it went down and let’s just say, it didn’t go well for Biden on the Interwebs.

Biden’s approach of bringing in bigger government into the family home to help uneducated parents who don’t seem to know how to raise their own children didn’t go well across the aisle.

Both liberals and conservatives seemed to agree that this rhetoric was just weird. By Friday morning, conservative radio show host Glenn Beck couldn’t hold back the laughter as he also weighed in on what many are calling the bizarre ramblings of Grandpa Joe Biden.

Here is Joe Biden’s full quote in response to repairing the legacy of slavery in the United States.

“Well, they have to deal with the — look, there’s institutional segregation in this country. From the time I got involved, I started dealing with that. Redlining banks, making sure we are in a position where — look, you talk about education. I propose is we take the very poor schools, triple the amount of money we spend from $15 to $45 billion a year. Give every single teacher a raise to the $60,000 level.

Number two, make sure that we bring in to help the teachers deal with the problems that come from home. The problems that come from home, we have one school psychologist for every 1,500 kids in America today. It’s crazy. The teachers are — I’m married to a teacher, my deceased wife is a teacher. They have every problem coming to them.

Make sure that every single child does, in fact, have 3, 4, and 5-year-olds go to school. Not daycare, school.

Social workers help parents deal with how to raise their children. It’s not that they don’t want to help, they don’t know how to play the radio, make sure the television — excuse me, make sure you have the record player on at night, the —make sure the kids hear words, a kid coming from a very poor school — a very poor background will hear 4 million words fewer spoken by the time we get there.

If that wasn’t enough, Joe Biden’s teeth were roasted too.
