As she accepted her Fashion Icon award, Gwen decided to talk about her choice of jewelry, assuring the fans that the ring was just for fashion purposes.

While chatting with E! News about her red carpet style, she explained that ‘It might be a real ring, real diamond but it is not a wedding ring. No, no. It actually does not fit over the glove on this hand [the right] so I put it on this hand [the left]. But good, right? When I have something to say, I will say it.’

That’s good to know! Maybe now that she assured people she will not hide the engagement when and if it happens, then maybe the speculations will stop!
