Gwen Stefani Reveals Exclusive Details About Her Engagement - Says That Both She And Blake Shelton 'Started Bawling!'

During a brand new interview, Gwen Stefani shared some details about her engagement that fans had never heard before! More precisely, the singer revealed that when her country crooner partner, Blake Shelton, popped the big question, both of them cried!

Gwen was a guest on the latest episode of The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and she proudly gushed over her ‘magical’ proposal that was so filled with emotion the couple shed happy tears!

The star recalled that ‘Out of nowhere, he has a ring that was like in a cabinet. When I opened it he was like, ‘Oh, get the fire starter.’ And I open the cabinet and there is this ring there, and I was like, ‘Are you serious?’ And we both started bawling! Everyone was in shock!’

While the proposal happened at his ranch, in front of their closest family members, Gwen mentioned that it nearly got delayed!

‘We were close to canceling the trip [to his ranch in Oklahoma]. We ended up making it happen, and we were all here and basically it happened. But everybody was trying to make it not happen ’cause no one knew it was happening, and Blake meanwhile had the ring in the side of his truck. I did not have any idea, no one knew. I think he’d told my dad on my birthday about 2 weeks earlier, and I gotta tell you, I was like, what is happening with us?’ the singer went on to tell the host.

As fans know, Blake and Gwen were together for about five years before the country crooner got on one knee back in October.

They met on The Voice, where they both appeared as judges, and it did not take them long at all to fall in love even though they’d both been through recent divorces – the rest is history!
