Gwen Stefani Turns 50! Blake Shelton Says He Loves Her So Much It's 'Stupid'

It’s hard to believe, but The Voice coach Gwen Stefani turned 50 on Thursday, October 4th. And, her boyfriend Blake Shelton took to Twitter to send his birthday wishes and to let the world know just how much he loves her.

It doesn’t appear that Stefani has aged a day since No Doubt broke onto the music scene in 1995 with their diamond-certified album Tragic Kingdom, that featured hits like Don’t Speak, Just A Girl, and Spiderwebs.

Stefani is known for her amazing talent, sweet personality, and beautiful looks that include her signature platinum blonde hair and red lipstick, but the singer has experienced her share of bad headlines over the years, thanks to the breakup of her marriage to Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale.

After thirteen years of marriage and three kids, Rossdale and Stefani split in 2015 after she caught him cheating with the nanny, Mindy Mann. At the time, an insider said that Stefani trusted Mann and treated her like a younger sister. The affair “absolutely devastated” the singer, but “she had no other choice” but to end the marriage.

However, at the same time that she was going through the breakup of her own marriage, Blake Shelton was going through a split from Miranda Lambert. Stefani and Shelton ended up bonding over their respective breakups while coaching on The Voice, and it led to an unexpected relationship that has lasted more than four years.

Despite constant rumors of weddings and pregnancies, Stefani and Shelton have not yet tied the knot or had a baby together. But, they both appear to be happier than ever, and are having a good time flirting with each other while battling it out on this season of The Voice.

To celebrate Stefani’s birthday, Shelton wrote a sweet and silly Tweet that shows just how in love he is with the Hollaback Girl.

“Happy Birthday @gwenstefani!!!! I love you so much it’s actually stupid… And possibly illegal in the state of California,” wrote Shelton.

New episodes of The Voice air Monday and Tuesday nights on NBC. Stefani is also currently in residence at the Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas. The final performances of her Just A Girl show will be in February and May of 2020.
