Gwyneth Paltrow says that quarantine was a time of reflection for her, although, admittedly, there were some ups and downs during the nationwide lockdown. For Shape Magazine, the 47-year-old actress shared that she found self-isolation to be a mixed bag in terms of emotions.
She claims that on the one hand, it left her feeling more peaceful, but on the other hand, she experienced a lot of “emotional distress.” One positive aspect is that she and Brad Falchuk have been slowing down, which was only made possible by the quarantine.
Gwyneth spoke on the positive side of the quarantine lockdown. She says that she feels “different,” on account of going to bed and sleeping in when she wants, allowing her body to adjust to its own natural rhythm. Moreover, she has her kids around and her man, Brad, a time during which they’re talking about life and having other meaningful conversations.
Paltrow says she and her family spend a lot of time at the dinner table talking. Sometimes their discussions last an hour and thirty minutes. The actress believes her heart is a lot fuller and her mind is much calmer.
Moreover, on account of all the Zoom calls she’s been doing lately, Gwyneth said she does a lot of back and neck exercises to counter-act against the effect of being on the computer so much. She and Brad go on a walk at least three or four times a week.

Back in April, Gwyneth posted a video to her Goop website in which she and Brad spoke with a psychologist about how to find “intimacy” in difficult times. Paltrow asked the psychologist what they’re supposed to do when they’re always working from home.
Fans of Paltrow know that she and Brad got married in 2018. Before they got hitched, Paltrow was married to the Coldplay frontman, Chris Martin, whereas Brad Falchuk was married to Suzanne Falchuk.
In the past, Paltrow joked that the key to living a happy marriage was to not live in the same house, but of course, she and Brad later moved in together.
