Hailey Baldwin is no stranger to social media derision and criticism, however, this last time, it went a little bit too far. Page Six reported that the model, who recently married the pop star, Justin Bieber, took to her Instagram account to address some of the haters on her IG who pointed out her genetic condition called, “ectrodactyly.”

Reportedly, the condition is a genetic abnormality in which a person’s fingers are – via Hailey’s words –  “crooked and scary.” The Daily Mail was the first to report on Hailey’s social media remarks and explanation. The 23-year-old wrote on her account that it was “genetic,” and she has dealt with it her entire life.

In addition to posting a picture of her finger, the artist also referenced a Wikipedia Page explaining her condition. Page Six, who obtained a paper from the University of Missouri, referenced an abstract which explained the condition.

According to the University of Missouri, “cleft hand,” is a genetic condition in which a person’s hands are spread apart. It’s sometimes called lobster claw or split hand, as well. In the modern era, however, most people prefer to use the word, “cleft hand.”

As it was noted above, Hailey Baldwin-Bieber recently got married to the “Yummy” singer, Justin Bieber. They tied the knot in a South Carolina ceremony in front of their friends, family, and celebrity pals. It came after the couple was rumored to have obtained a marriage license in private back in September 2018.

Lately, Justin Bieber has been candid with the public regarding his relationship with Hailey, including some of the books he’s been reading which explain how to keep a marriage together.

Reportedly, the star is concerned about his own ability to be faithful, considering the number of options he has as a celebrity performer, with legions of female fans.

According to Ashley Mitchell, who reported on Justin’s choice in reading material earlier this year, the book goes by the name, His Needs, Her Needs: Building an Affair-Proof Marriage. The book was penned by Willard Hartley. Hartley is a marriage counselor as well as a clinical psychologist.
