Hailey Baldwin has joined the long line of performers and entertainers who dislike social media. Earlier this week – claims Us Magazine -Hailey slammed social media as “toxic” following rumors of her feuding with the pop star, Selena Gomez.
Speaking with reporters from British Vogue on December 4th, the 23-year-old stated that social media was a “breeding ground for toxicity” and for people who like to create problems between other influencers. Moreover, she described it as a platform where people try to get women to compete against one another.
As it was previously reported, the 27-year-old songstress just released a brand new song called “Lose You To Love Me,” back in October. It was a song people on social media wholly believed revolved around Selena’s ex-boyfriend, Justin, and his new wife, Hailey.
Following the song’s release, Hailey posted a screenshot on her Instagram Story of the song, “I’ll Kill You,” written by Summer Walker and Jhené Aiko. People thought it had something to do with Selena’s new song.

On the 23rd of October, the Drop the Mic co-host denied rumors she had posted the song on her IG platform as a way of saying something to Selena. A source who spoke with Us Magazine stated, however, that Selena’s song was kind of about Justin, but not completely.
It appears as though Hailey is being truthful when she stated there is no problem at all between her and Selena. Earlier this year, in November, just before the American Music Awards, Hailey liked an Instagram video of Gomez showing off her look just before going on stage.
Another insider who spoke with Us alleged that Hailey doesn’t feel there is an issue at all with Gomez. Moreover, she wasn’t worried about the release of the song either, because frankly, artists create all kinds of songs all the time, with many different meanings.
As it was previously reported, Gomez and Justin dated intermittently for many years, from 2011 all the way until 2018. The couple got married in a New York City courthouse in September 2018.
