Hailey Bieber Talks Her Crooked Pinky Finger And Asks Trolls To Stop Roasting Her — Does She Have Ectrodactyly Or Clinodactyly?

Hailey Bieber has taken to her official Instagram account to reveal some personal information. With more than 24.5 million Instagram followers, Hailey has a right to sound off when people are trolling her and making her upset. The issue, at hand, is actually on her hand! You see, Hailey Bieber was born with a genetic condition that causes her pinky fingers to bend. Hailey shared several posts in her Instagram story, including a clip from a Wikipedia article regarding the condition known as ectrodactyly. She later deleted the photo from Wikipedia with the description about ectrodactyly but left the other photos up.

You may see the now-deleted clip from Hailey Bieber’s Instagram story in the video player below. Now, many are asking if Hailey has ectrodactyly or actually has another genetic disorder that affects the fingers known as clinodactyly.

Fans, and trolls, have noticed for a while that Hailey has very long, slim fingers. Hailey is 5”7 and just comes in at runway model height. She has an extremely successful modeling career, but some have felt that her fingers seemed unusually long for her height and bone size. Then, people noticed that her little pinky finger has a continuous bend in it.

Hailey shared a message where she stated the following.

“OK let’s get into the pinky conversation…because I’ve made fun of myself about this for forever so I might as well just tell everyone why they’re so crooked and scary.”

She then continued to show the Wikipedia article for the condition known as ectrodactyly. Ectrodactyly is also known as “lobster claw” where fingers may be fused together or are actually missing.

As Hailey has all of her fingers and only the little pinky fingers are bent, it appears she has Clinodactyly instead of Ectrodactyly.
