Hayden Panettiere remains close with young daughter Kaya, despite the 4-year-old living in Ukraine with her dad Wladimir Klitschko.

There is a half a world between the troubled actress and her only child. However, Panettiere is doing whatever is necessary to ensure Kaya knows she is loved by her famous mother.

Us Weekly is reporting the Heroes alum not only FaceTime’s with the little girl regularly but she also travels to Ukraine often.

The magazine claims despite being separated from Panettiere, Kaya is thriving with her father, Klitschko. A source shared Kaya loves to watch her athletic dad train, has a slew of friends and is very happy living in Ukraine.

It has been a rough year for the Nashville actress, who has struggled with domestic abuse at the hands of her on again and off again boyfriend, Brian Hickerson. She was granted a protective order against him this summer, but her family is reportedly not convicted the couple is over.

Amid her turbulent relationship with Hickerson, reports surfaced it was impacting Panettiere as a mother. In February an insider told Us Weekly the actress had not seen her young daughter in months.

The source also alleged she knew Kaya was better off with her father than with the blonde beauty. However, another source later disputed that and maintained despite her personal drama, Panettiere works hard at her relationship with Kaya.

It is unclear how the little girl ended up living in Ukraine with Klitschko. When the couple of nine years split n 2018, the 30-year-old actress said in a statement she and Klitschko were committed to co-parenting their daughter together.

At the time it was believed they had settled on raising Kaya in New York City. Panettiere also insisted she and her baby daddy were the best of friends and would stay that way forever.

Hayden Panettiere reportedly FaceTimes and visits her daughter, Kaya in Ukraine often. They remain very close despite the miles between them. The actress has never spoken out regarding being separated from her only child or the state of their relationship.

The professional boxer has also not spoken publicly on the state of his relationship with Panettiere or hers with their daughter. Wladimir Klitschko has also kept quiet regarding all of the drama involving his baby mama over the past year.
