Hayden Panettiere Reportedly Hasn’t Seen Daughter Kaya In Months

Nashville alum Hayden Panettiere has been having a rough couple of years. Shortly after the hit show aired its final episode, the actress announced she and fiancé Wladimir Klitschko had called it quits. Although the couple had been together for nine years and welcomed daughter Kaya in December 2014, Panettiere wasted no time moving on with Brian Hickerson.

Six months after the news of her split with Klitschko and her new romance with Hickerson broke,  US Weekly is reporting that the blonde beauty has not seen her daughter in months. The magazine is saying that an insider close to the actress has revealed that Kaya is living in Ukraine with Klitschko and is being raised with help from her grandmother.

“She knows the child being with her is not best for Kaya right now. It’s a sad situation,” exclaims the insider in the latest issue of the magazine.

There are different reports regarding exactly how long it has been since mother and daughter have spent time together. Although the US Weekly insider indicates it has been several months, PopCulture claims another source close to the 29-year-old shared that Panettiere Kaya spent the holidays together.

The timing of US Weekly latest issue is interesting considering the former Heroes star spoke to the magazine about her co-parenting relationship with Klitschko last week. Panettiere attended the Sharkwater Extinction premiere with Hickerson but was candid about her relationship with her ex-fiancé and raising their daughter.

“We’re still respectful of each other, and we still have that friendship with each other. It’s not a situation that you find yourself in all that often, so it’s a new one. But I think we’ve done a really good job,” she shared without going into details. There was no mention of the last time she saw Kaya.

Hayden Panettiere has yet to release a statement or comment on the latest issue of US Weekly, which claims she gave up her daughter as she parties with her bad boy boyfriend, Brian Hickerson. Sadly, this is not the first time that her relationship with her new man has come under fire.

Last fall multiple outlets reported that the actress’s family and friends were worried about her new relationship. The media attention was so intense that Hickerson went to Access Hollywood to set the record straight. He claimed neither her family or friends were worried about her at all.
