Heather Rae Young revealed that she has a great relationship with her man, Tarek El Moussa’s former wife, Christina Anstead! Furthermore, she made it clear that she is super happy with her status of ‘bonus mom’ to their kids!
During an interview with ET, Heather dished on her romance with Tarek and how their relationship will keep developing in the upcoming season of Selling Sunset.
She also discussed reaching out to Christina after she and Tarek began dating and explained why she did that.
Apparently, it took the pair only two dates to realize that they were ‘one hundred percent [committing] to each other,’
What that means is that his two kids with Christina were also part of the equation!
‘I’ve never been a mom. I’m new to all this. But as a woman, I kind of felt like, ‘What would I want being in her situation?’ So it felt right for me – that I am gonna be living with the children, being around them all the time – that I’d reach out to her. And we have a great relationship. We talk about the kids and it is great. It has been such an amazing experience for me being this ‘bonus mom,” she told the news outlet.
As fans know, Tarek made his romance with Young public back in August and in January, they moved in together!
Their early relationship stages have been featured on their reality TV show so fans get to see how she balanced work, romance, getting to know the kids and more!
Asked if she’s thinking of tying the knot with Tarek at some point, she admitted she’d love to get engaged.
However, she is not in any hurry since they have only been dating for 10 months!
‘We just have the best time together. He’s my best friend in the whole world and I’m just really enjoying what we have right now. I don’t feel like there’s a rush. And honestly, I want him to feel a hundred percent ready. He went through a very public divorce. I mean, do I wanna be engaged? Of course, who doesn’t. But I’m not pushing him.’
