Fans of Jennifer Lopez know that she has had many relationships over the years, some of them successful, and some of them not so much. Currently, she’s in the middle of a whirlwind romance with the former baseball player, Alex Rodriguez.

According to Today.com, when J-Lo spoke with Harper’s Bazaar recently, the 49-year-old superstar spoke about how some of those romances were slated to fall apart from the beginning.

“But it didn’t have to do with anybody else but me – it was about me figuring it out,” Jennifer Lopez remarked. In the past, J-Lo dated other men like Sean “Diddy” Combs, as well as her backup dancer, Cris Judd. She also was engaged to Ben Affleck at one time.

Furthermore, she was married to the Latin hitmaker, Marc Anthony, and also had a fling for many years with the backup dancer, Casper Smart. And while all of her prior relationships ended in both parties going separate ways, J-Lo believes her romance with A-Rod may last for a crucial but simple reason: she’s now comfortable with herself.

These days, J-Lo has really grown to love herself. She told reporters that once one has turned into an emotionally and spiritually mature adult, they can have more healthy relationships, the star remarked. It was a must for her to learn and grow.

Whether or not it can last or not, remains to be seen, but one thing that’s known for sure is that J-Lo and Alex are riding in style. TMZ reported that the couple owns a $15 million apartment.

The place has 3 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms, and it’s in the world’s tallest residential building. In October of 2017, J-Lo and A-Rod put her penthouse on 26th Street for sale for approximately $27 million. And if TMZ is correct, it turns out that a Saudi retail mogul actually purchased the house for a whopping $87.7 million.

There’s no question that New York City has become an expensive city to live in, even small homes for middle-class people go for at least 1.2 million dollars – claims Trulia, and the median rent is $3000.
