Hilaria 'Hillary' Baldwin Says It's Other People's Fault The Public Was Confused About Her Non-Spanish Hertiage

Hilaria Baldwin hasn’t come forward in the midst of her scandal to admit that she has done anything wrong. Instead, she is laying the blame on the media for getting their facts wrong about her Spanish heritage. Hilaria was born Hillary Hayward-Thomas and her online biography continually states that she was born in Spain. Now, it has been alleged by multiple sources that Hillary Baldwin was born and raised in Beacon Hill, an affluent suburb of Boston. Still, Hilaria isn’t admitting to any wrongdoing.

In an Instagram statement over the weekend, Hilaria ‘Hillary’ Baldwin stated the following.

I’ve seen chatter online questioning my identity and culture. This is something I take very seriously,and for those who are asking— I’ll reiterate my story, as I’ve done many times before.  I was born in Boston and grew up spending time with my family between Massachusetts and Spain. My parents and sibling live in Spain and I chose to live here, in the USA. We celebrate both cultures in our home—Alec and I are raising our children bilingual, just as I was raised. This is very important to me. I understand that my story is a little different, but it is mine, and I’m very proud of it.

Now it has been discovered that Hilaria grew up in Boston, went to school in Boston, and never spoke with an accent to her friends, neighbors, or classmates. Her parents are not Spaniards and are multi-generational New Englanders. Hilaria came under fire when her former classmates saw her recent row with Amy Schumer and decided to speak up.

Internet sleuths began investigating and discovered that Hilaria’s stories simply didn’t add up. Now, the evidence against Hilaria continues to unfold and she isn’t owning up to anything. Instead, she continues to make excuses and blames other people for mistaking her for a Spaniard.

Hilaria and Alec Baldwin married in 2012, and the Daily Mail revisited the couple’s Spanish wedding that Hilaria insisted on having in order to stay true to her heritage. She repeatedly described her parents as being Spanish and even told Vanity Fair Espana that her parents had difficulty saying ‘Baldwin’ due to their strong Spanish accents. Now it has been learned that her parents’ native language is English — the same as Hillary Baldwin’s.
