How Did The Southern Charm Cast React To Madison LeCroy's Shocking Claims About Shep Rose?

During a recent episode of Southern Charm, Madison LeCroy accused Shep Rose of giving Danni Baird chlamydia when they dated almost a decade ago before the Charleston-based Bravo show was on the air. But, Baird says those claims are completely false, and she believes that Austen Kroll was behind LeCroy’s accusation.

“What Madison said was very hurtful and untrue, and I feel as though it was clearly calculated, both directed at Shep and to me,” Baird told The Daily Dish. “I don’t think that Austen is innocent in the matter. They had both, unbeknownst to me, had been harboring some underlying resentment toward me particularly.”

Danni thinks that Madison’s accusation was all about revenge. After Danni revealed that Madison sent Instagram messages to her boyfriend, Gentry, while she was still dating Austen, it ended up escalating into something bigger.

Danni says she had no idea that Madison harbored those feelings, and she didn’t know the relationship backstory, but she couldn’t care less. However, the last thing she wanted to do was expose Madison and Austen’s unhealthy relationship.

When Madison made the accusation in Colorado it shocked Danni because she thought that things between her, Madison, and Austen were fine and they had resolved their issues at Patricia Altschul’s dinner party. But, Danni and Austen never let it go, and the chlamydia claim came out of left field.

Danni says that she couldn’t believe Madison was talking about her, and she was in shock for about ten minutes and then broke down once she realized that she had said it on national television.

She knows that Madison was targeting Shep, but she threw her in there for a good reason. She says that it has been hard for her to comprehend how someone could put something out there like that when it isn’t true because that’s not in her nature.

Danni now realizes how hurt Austen was by the Instagram incident and it led to animosity towards her. Now, Danni wishes she would have just stayed out of it instead of trying to protect them.

“Obviously, I truly feel like God can only give you what you can handle. This is happening to me for a reason, so I’m just gonna go with it,” says Danni.
