Howie Mandel Returns With Deal Or No Deal And There's A $100,000 Sweepstakes!

Howie Mandel returns to the hit game show Deal or No Deal that moved from NBC to CNBC. The show returns on June 12, 2019, on CNBC at 9 p.m. ET. Originally airing on NBC on December 19, 2005, the show ran until May 18, 2009. The first four seasons stayed on NBC until the show was canceled. In 2018, it was announced that Deal or No Deal would return for Season 5 but on CNBC. The show premiered on December 5, 2018, to rating’s success. Since CNBC announced Deal or No Deal will return for Season 6, fans have been sharing their excitement on social media. It was announced that Season 6 will feature the Lucky Case Sweepstake where a viewer will win $100,000.

Some of the fans were so excited about the upcoming sweepstakes they encouraged others on social media to download the Deal Or No Deal app for their chance to win other prizes as well.

CNBC released a statement about the show and described Deal or No Deal as follows.

Contestants make high-stakes decisions to take or reject offers of life-changing money from 26 sealed briefcases full of varying amounts of cash – ranging from a penny to $1 million. The mysterious woman known only as “the Banker,” plays the odds in an attempt to buy back each contestant’s case for the lowest amount. It’s a nail-biting process for player and their supporters…now with the added ability to Counter-Offer any Banker Deal once in a game!”

The premiere season will feature two back-to-back episodes. At 9 p.m. ET, Ironman competitor and  Miami police officer Jorge Montero will try his hand at the million dollar prize.

Following Jorge Montero will be real estate agent Toni Miller who will see if she can also be a big winner on the show. That episode will air on CNBC at 10 p.m. ET.
