Hugh Jackman Says He Checks On Blake Lively All The Time For This Hilarious Reason!

While on Good Morning America, Hugh Jackman revealed that he has been checking on fellow actor Blake Lively a lot amid this COVID-19 pandemic and explained why as well! The actor stated that ‘I check on Blake all the time. I just cannot imagine what this whole isolation’s been like.’

As you might know, Hugh Jackman and Blake’s husband, Ryan Reynolds are pretty good pals and have a pretty similar sense of humor as well!

That being said, fans are often treated to the two actors trolling and teasing each other on social media, making for some hilarious interactions and it appears that they are at it again!

While a guest on Good Morning America earlier today, the X-Men star’s playful ‘rivalry’ with the Deadpool star came into discussion when Hugh Jackman’s Emmy nomination for Bad Education was mentioned.

Back in July, Ryan Reynolds made sure to send his congratulations to Jackman and couldn’t help but also make fun of his friend, suggesting that he did not deserve it.

In response, Jackman argued that Reynolds was only saying that because he was jealous of his achievement.

So, when the host, Michael Strahan, asked during the interview whether or not he’s been checking in on his celeb friend, he took this opportunity to poke fun at Reynolds as well!

‘I check on Blake [Lively] all the time. I just cannot imagine what this isolation has been like. I mean, really, that is months in the same house with Ryan. I check on her all the time. She really really appreciates it. I think it has been really difficult for her,’ he playfully responded.

Hugh went on to joke that he and Ryan have a ‘big brother, little brother’ type of relationship. I keep trying to take the high road all the time. It is very difficult. It is draining. I am trying to teach him, but, you know, he just won’t listen.’
