Leanne Locken may have been the most popular star of the Real Housewives of Dallas but her Texas star fell as quickly as it rose. After causing major controversy on the Bravo show, Leanne is out.

The former Bravolebrity announced her departure last month.

She told People Magazine: ‘The last four years have been a trolley-slapping good time but after much consideration, I have made the personal decision to step away from RHOD. Getting to share my wedding with the viewers last year brought me tremendous joy, however, the season was very personally challenging for me. I am looking forward to stepping away from the cameras and spending quality time with my husband and friends, traveling, but most importantly, getting back to philanthropy, which was my main reason for joining the show. Thank you to everyone who has laughed and cried with me along the way. It’s been an amazing journey, and yes my pantyliner is still exhausted. There are so many exciting things on my horizon that I can’t wait to share with you.’

If the Dallas socialite didn’t bow out gracefully, she may have been fired anyway.

Leanne was the center of controversy when she went on multiple offensive rants about her co-star Kary Brittingham.

From mocking her for being ‘Mexican and strong’ to referring to her as a ‘chirpy Mexican’ — Leanne showed her true colors as the episodes aired.

Immediately, Bravo fans called for her to be fired as she claimed ignorance mixed with her anger issues was the reason for her prejudiced comments.

After hearing the news about Locken, fans are also questioning if Leanne’s former castmate Brandi Redmond would make the same decision.

A video resurfaced of the reality star mimicking Asians went viral. However, Redmond’s video was in response to her co-stars making fun of her ‘slanty eyes.’

Since then, Brandi went to a mental health facility and returned back to her podcast.
