In An Instagram Post, Eugenio Derbez's Wife Stated That Although The Actor Is Healthy, His Wounds Are Severe

Following an accident he just experienced, actor Eugenio Derbez will soon have a “very complex” surgery, his wife said.

Actress and singer Alessandra Rosaldo updated concerned followers on her husband’s impending operation in a shared Instagram story, although she kept mum about the tragedy he was engaged in.

The Mexican soap opera star informed their combined audience of over 24 million that “he is okay, but the damages he sustained are severe, and in the coming hours, he will have to perform the surgery.

After appearing in this year’s Best Picture winner “CODA,” the 60-year-old actor, who is Mexican, most recently made an appearance in the comedy series “Acapulco” on Apple TV+. The most well-known Spanish-language TV shows that Derbez has appeared in are “Al Derecho y Al Derbez,” “XHDRBZ,” and “La Familia P. Luche.”

His wife stated in Spanish that although the procedure was difficult, his health was not in danger. “He will need to rest for a few weeks before engaging in rehabilitation therapy,” says the doctor, “so the healing process will be lengthy and challenging.”

Rosaldo stated that it was crucial for them to break the news on their own grounds. She said, “I have some work obligations to meet that I cannot postpone, but I ask you all with great love to enable me to express whatever you want to know about this matter through my social networks. Eugenio will be healing and may take some time off from using social media and other forms of the internet.
