Inside Kourtney Kardashian's Plans To Be Bigger Than Kylie Jenner

Just last week, Kylie Jenner’s makeup line, Kylie Cosmetics, officially became a billion-dollar brand, and now her big sister, Kourtney Kardashian, is ready to launch her own lifestyle and beauty empire called Poosh. Kardashian recently made the big announcement on Instagram, and fans are wondering exactly what Kardashian’s new business venture is all about.

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star posted a naked photo of herself sitting on a bathroom counter, holding an Apple laptop in one hand and a cup of tea in the other to strategically cover up her lady parts, and in the caption, she told fans that Poosh was coming soon.

According to Radar Online, Kardashian wants Poosh to cover everything, and all of the items in the pic – except for Kourtney and the laptop – will be part of the reality star’s new line.

“She is launching Poosh as a beauty brand, but also a lifestyle brand. So that means that the tea set, as well as the colognes on the shelf, and even the towels are going to be included in her brand,” says an insider.

The source added that Kardashian has set her sights higher than matching Kylie Cosmetics; she wants to be her own Amazon. And, since she has Kris Jenner in her corner, it is possible that Kardashian could achieve that goal.

The insider explained that Kardashian got the idea for Poosh after a series of business fails that included a makeup line and a clothing line. The oldest sister wants to cash in on the family’s name while she still can, and she is tired of seeing her younger sisters become incredibly wealthy and famous while she is still “stuck in the $100 million net worth mark.”

The 39-year-old believes that Poosh could be the perfect business for relating to fans, and it could be “her exact niche.”

The Poosh website is still a work in progress, and it currently features the same naked pic of Kardashian along with the statement, “Be the first to know. Sign up below.”

In addition to towels, tea sets, colognes, and body oils, many think that Poosh will also sell home decor. But, Poosh’s complete product line remains a mystery.

As for where the brand name comes from, KUWTK fans know that Kourtney Kardashian calls her daughter, Penelope Disick, Poosh. And, that’s what most believe inspired the reality star.
