Inside Queen Elizabeth's Special Relationship With Prince Harry

Queen Elizabeth and Prince Harry have a “very special relationship” says Prince Charles’ former butler. And, that bond could be because Harry reminds her of her husband, Prince Philip.

In Quest Red’s new royal documentary, Grant Harrold says that the royal grandmother and grandson have given fans a glimpse of their special bond.

“I think in public we can see that the Queen does let her guard down a bit with Prince Harry. There’s a very special relationship,” says Harrold. “Sometimes, I wonder if maybe he reminds the Queen a little bit of Prince Philip. You know, with that wonderful, let’s say, the kind of glint in his eye.”

"I now feel a bit affronted."

Anne and the panel are not amused that Prince Harry and Meghan have chosen to not announce when their baby is born, calling it a "snub".

With Meghan Markle’s due date fast approaching, Prince Harry will become a father for the first time any day now, and he is settling into a more mature role in the Royal family. But, many fans remember when Harry was known for his cheeky sense of humor, says The Express.

In her 2010 biography Harry and William, royal author Katie Nicholl wrote that Harry once played a prank on the Queen and gave a royal aide “the shock of his life.”

Nicholl wrote that Harry was always the more troublesome of the two princes, and when the Queen received a mobile phone one year as a Christmas present, she asked Harry to activate a standard voicemail greeting. However, Prince Harry insisted on recording a personal message.

Nicholl claims Harry’s recording was: “Hey, wassup? This is Liz! Sorry, I’m away from the throne. For a hotline to Philip, press one, for Charles press two, for the corgis press three.”

In the background of the message, you could hear William “guffawing,” says Nicholl. And, Queen Elizabeth didn’t find out about the recording until her private secretary Robin Janvrin called the monarch’s new phone.

The Queen and Prince Harry remain close to this day, and they still manage to spend some time together even though Harry and Meghan have moved out of the palace and into Frogmore Cottage in Windsor.

Queen Elizabeth attended the Maundy Thursday service this week at St. George’s Cathedral in Windsor, which is where Harry and Meghan got married last May,

Before moving into their new home, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex stayed in The Long Room at the Heckfield Place Hotel, which costs $13,000 per night. And, many people believe the couple was enjoying a babymoon before baby Sussex arrives.
