We are only a few weeks away from the highly anticipated release of Avengers: Endgame. We couldn’t be more excited about seeing our favorite superheroes together for one last hurrah. But is Endgame really the last Avengers movie for Marvel Studios?
Endgame is easily the most ambitious project Marvel has ever undertaken. The film is a little over three hours long and was more expensive than any of its predecessors. It will introduce a few more characters to the fold, including Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel, and is easily the most hyped Marvel movie to date. After all, who doesn’t want to find out how things will work out after half of the Universe was wiped out in Infinity War?

As far as the future is concerned, Endgame will certainly be the end for some characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. There are a number of different actors whose contract with Marvel is up, including Chris Evans (Captain America) and Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man). Fans have been pushing for both actors to sign new deals with the studio, but whether that happens seems doubtful at this point.
While Avengers: Endgame might be the last time this particular cast gets together, there are plenty of Marvel movies scheduled for release in coming years.

After Endgame premieres in theaters, the MCU will officially start its fourth phase, starting with Spider-Man: Far From Home, which is scheduled to be released in this summer.
Following Spider-Man, James Gunn is set to direct the third Guardians of the Galaxy movie. There are also rumors that Scarlett Johansson will get her own Black Widow film, though details of which have not been released.

Fans can expect more offerings from the studio, especially considering the success of its first three phases.
Avengers: Endgame is scheduled to open in theaters April 26.
