Is Chris Hemsworth's Thor Going To Be In Guardians Of The Galaxy 3?

While Avengers: Endgame wrapped up the storylines of Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Captain America (Chris Evans), and Black Widow (Scarlett Johanssen), there were still members of the original six who had their futures left up in the air. Fans still don’t know the fate of Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), or Thor (Chris Hemsworth) in the MCU, but there are numerous theories.

One of the most popular is that Thor will be a part of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, or as the God of Thunder called them at the end of Endgame, “Asgardians of the Galaxy.”

Reports claim that Spider-Man: Far From Home will reveal that the surviving members of the original six are in different corners of the universe after defeating Thanos in Endgame. But, considering Thor fit right in with the Guardians, he just might end up with Star-Lord, Gamora, Rocket, Groot, Drax, and Nebula.

Dave Bautista, the former wrestler and actor who played Drax, says that Hemsworth would be a “perfect fit”

“I think Chris Hemsworth is a great guy; he’s a fun-loving Aussie. He is what you’d expect him to be. He’s very funny, pleasant and upbeat. He’s very social, so I think that would be a perfect fit, to be honest with you. I think Hemsworth is hysterical,” says Bautista.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 was on hold for a while because of the controversy surrounding director James Gunn. Marvel fired Gunn last year, but eventually re-hired him after an outpouring of support from the cast and fans. However, filming won’t begin until 2020 after Gunn finishes working on The Suicide Squad.

 As for Hemsworth, the Daily Mail is reporting that the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce has announced that he will be getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Hemsworth is among 35 celebrities who will get a star this year. Others include Julia Roberts, Elvis Costello, Christina Applegate, Dr. Phil McGraw, and Cindy Crawford.

Chris Hemsworth, 35, moved out of Los Angeles and back to his native Australia in 2014, where he lives with his wife, Elsa Pataky, and their three kids. His new movie Men In Black: International is currently in theaters.
