Is Miranda Lambert’s New Husband Brendan McLoughlin A Cheater? His Ex’s Mom Says "Yes"

Curiosity surrounding Miranda Lambert’s new husband Brendan McLoughlin mounts as fans clamor for any information regarding the lucky man. However, in the days after the singer shockingly admitted she was married, not all news about the man she calls the love of her life is good.

Carol Bruno’s daughter, Jackie Bruno, was once engaged to McLoughlin. The mother has given US Weekly an earful about the guy who almost became her son-in-law. There is no love lost between these two, especially since Bruno revealed the NYPD officer cheated on Jackie and got another woman pregnant.

“She was thrown for a loop. She had no clue. The girl contacted her. Jackie was in Sweden playing professional soccer, got injured and came home, and the girl contacted her. She broke the news to her. Brendan tried to deny it and then begged her to stay with him,” claims mama Bruno to the magazine.

Although neither Lambert nor her husband has commented on the story, it has been confirmed that McLoughlin is a father. He welcomed a son with Kaihla Rettinger on November 5th. The couple reportedly became parents three days before he met his now wife, Lambert.

It is not clear if McLoughlin and Rettinger were together when he met the ‘We Should Be Friends’ singer. However, he did spend Thanksgiving with Rettinger and his son, which could mean there was some overlap between the two ladies or that he merely wanted to spend the holiday with his baby boy.

“She was only going for a few months to play, he was begging her to marry him before she left, even though he knew the girl was pregnant,” Carol Bruno further states to Us Weekly, as she explained that he daughter was given the opportunity of a lifetime to play soccer overseas.

Considering his past indiscretion, fans have to wonder what it is about the 27-year-old that has the county singer so head over heels in love. Brendan McLoughlin doesn’t have the most excellent track record when it comes to being faithful, but there has to be something special about the former model. Miranda Lambert wouldn’t just marry some guy she barely knew unless it was the real deal, right?
