President Donald Trump shocked the world when he took a question from a reporter who not only asked the Commander in Chief if he had watched Netflix’s Tiger King but if he was considering giving Joe Exotic a presidential pardon. Tiger King is a seven-episode docuseries that focuses on convicted felon and former zookeeper Joseph Allen Schreibvogel (later changed to Joseph Allen Maldonado-Passage and known as Joe Exotic) who was convicted for the attempted-murder-for-hire plot against big cat keeper Carole Baskin. As the nation has been on lockdown due to the Coronavirus pandemic, more people are binge-watching their favorite programs and Tiger King has topped the list. Joe Exotic is currently serving a 22-year prison sentence at FMC Fort Worth but Donald Trump’s son, Donald Trump Jr., suggested the sentence seemed a bit “aggressive” and now President Donald Trump stated he will look into it.

Donald Trump Jr. appeared on Sirius XM where he called into a radio show and discussed the series and Joe Exotic.

“Now, I don’t even know exactly what he was charged with…I watched the show, but it was like, I don’t know exactly what he was guilty of or wasn’t. It doesn’t seem like he was totally innocent of anything. But when they’re saying, ‘We’re putting this guy away for 30 years,’ I’m saying that seems sort of aggressive.

Joe Exotic’s fans were thrilled to hear the news as many are hoping that the TIger King will be pardoned.

One person who understandably wouldn’t be happy about a potential pardon is Carole Baskin. You may see the moment when President Donald Trump addressed the question in the video player below.

Tiger King has become such a hit that fans are demanding more on the series. According to reports, Netflix is planning on releasing one additional episode that is said to be similar to a reality program reunion. It’s also believed that Carole Baskin, who was not happy with the way she was portrayed in the Netflix series, won’t appear at the reunion special.
