Tori Spelling’s diva behavior is reportedly causing a lot of drama on the set of the Beverly Hills 90210 reboot.
RadarOnline is reporting that Spelling’s storyline demands have caused several writers and original showrunner, Patrick Sean Smith, to walk away from the Fox show. Last month several outlets revealed Smith no longer was associated with the reboot after feuding with two actresses on BH90210.
The premise of the show is to have the original cast portray exaggerated versions of themselves as they attempt to the get 90’s hit drama revived. A source close to the set now claims Spelling has a specific way she wants her life portrayed and it is not even close to reality.

“Tori didn’t want to portray her real life, which is being broke and on the D-list. She wanted to live in a big mansion in Beverly Hills and show the life she envisioned her character would be leading, a life much more glamorous and wealthy than her real life,” explained an insider close to the reboot.
The website further reports the actress has dug her heels in, making working with her extremely difficult for those behind the scenes. Spelling reportedly does not want to portray any facet of her real life on the show.
At one point her husband Dean McDermott was joining the show so they could play a couple fighting over finances. The story would not have been a stretch since a few different financial companies are currently suing them over unpaid bills.
However, RadarOnline states McDermott was recently dropped from the show to appease his demanding wife. Neither Spelling nor McDermott has confirmed he was going to participate in BH90210. So at this point, fans will likely have to wait until the show premieres on August 7th to find out the truth.
I swear if @torispelling screws up the #BH90210 reboot with her antics and makes this show suck I will be beyond devastated. Girl admit your life sucked/sucks and embrace it.

As for whether or not Tori Spelling is being a diva on set and causing writers to quit? It could go either way. The actress has not responded to the story, but she rarely comments on personal situations, such as her finances, unless it has to do with defending her kids or husband.
Perez Hilton has confirmed a few writers and the original showrunner are no longer with the Fox drama, that fact is true. As for it being Spellings fault, what do you think?
