On this season of Vanderpump Rules, cast member James Kennedy got in hot water, and now, fans of the show are wondering if the man will end up leaving the gig! As you may know, the scandal started with James making some really offensive comments about Katie’s weight.

One insider tells HollywoodLife that ‘James is still involved with Vanderpump Rules this entire season. Though most of the cast isn’t speaking to him, Tom and Ariana are, as does Scheana, and he still is invited to events.’

There you have it!  It seems like you haven’t seen the last of James!

The source also dished on the reason why Lisa Vanderpump lets James stay part of their lives even though he made such disgusting comments.

‘At the end of the day, Lisa knows she has a show to make, though she really did not like his insensitive comments about Katie. Lisa’s known James for years as she is good friends with his parents. She has a soft spot for him. The things James said about Katie were a big tipping point as to why most of the cast cut him out of their lives completely. James works more at Lisa’s restaurants than most of the other cast at this point!’ they explained.

During the episode that aired on December 23, Lisa had no choice but fire James Kennedy amid his fat-shaming scandal.

But even though she had no choice but do it, it was not an easy decision for her as she broke down crying.

Still, despite liking the DJ very much, she was well aware such comments were unacceptable.
