Jamie Foxx has had an eventful year thus far. When Us Weekly spoke with the acclaimed actor this past Saturday, January 6th, the star dished on his vacation with Katie Holmes in Miami, Florida. The 51-year-old told reporters that it “was foolish!”
While at Sean Penn’s J/P HRO & Disaster Relief Organization Gala in LA, the star admitted the vacation was “foolish” for an undisclosed reason. As it was previously reported, Jamie was spotted kissing the 40-year-old on his yacht last week.
The 40-year-old Batman Begins star wore a red and white top and bottom on Jamie’s $8 million 150-foot yacht which he calls Utopia III. And the day after, they even rode Jet Skis in South Florida’s Biscayne Bay. Back in March of 2015, Us Weekly revealed that Jamie and Katie had been dating for two years.

Ever since their relationship’s beginning, the pair has managed to keep it under wraps for the most part. However, in the last few years, both Jamie and Katie have been a little less discerning in terms of how they present themselves – specifically their relationship – in public. Foxx has two daughters, Corinne, 24, and Annalise, 10, from old romances.
A source who spoke with the outlet described the pair as “looking happy,” at the Gala along with Katie’s mom. Jamie and Kathleen had frozen hot chocolate and Katie had a strawberry sundae. As most know, Katie used to be married to Tom Cruise and even shares a 12-year-old daughter with him.
While some would believe Tom was sore about Jamie hooking up with his ex-wife, reports have it that Tom was actually quite courteous about it.
According to multiple reports, Jamie described Tom as being a professional in the way in which he dealt with the divorce proceedings with Katie. However, that hasn’t stopped media tabloids from framing their separation as incredibly messy and tumultuous.
Mostly due to his involvement in the Church of Scientology, fellow celebrities and outlets have criticized him, especially Leah Remini, who released a documentary about the Church’s supposed injustices and abuse.
