Jason Biggs is hoping that he continues getting work in the film business even though he’s not Jewish. Fans of the actor know he has portrayed Jewish characters many times over the years, in fact, probably over the entirety of his career, but he’s not actually Jewish.

Biggs spoke with the outlet this weekend and said that he was afraid if Hollywood “gets wind” of the truth, he would be out of work for the foreseeable future. The actor also spoke on the fact of how the industry is now so focused on cultural appropriation.

These days, Biggs is promoting his latest gig, Cherries Wild, a new game show on which he is the host. Contestants answer questions about pop culture trivia, and the American Pie star is obviously a big fan of the show and its style.

According to Biggs, he has a lot of the same knowledge that’s required of the contestants, in fact, he says he has only ever been stumped one time when hearing the questions. Biggs went on to say that he was big into pop culture and knows a lot of random information.

“I’m a pretty big pop culture guy,” Biggs remarked, before going on to say that he and his wife often talk about who is getting divorced in the entertainment industry. Fans of Biggs are happy to see his name in the headlines a little more.

Just yesterday, Jason was in the news once again over an interview he did in which he revealed a surprising detail about a role he once turned down. As it was previously reported, Biggs had a chance to star on How I Met Your Mother, but he turned it down because he didn’t want to leave the film business for television.

Jason said in the interview that it was probably his one big career regret where he wishes he would’ve done things a bit differently. At the time, Jason didn’t want to give up his relaxed movie schedule where he got a few months off at a time, moreover, he liked doing films.

However, he later realized that he wanted to do television anyway, and How I Met Your Mother became huge once it hit the air.
