Jeff Bezos Will Reportedly Bring Mistress Lauren Sanchez With Him To The Oscars

This past Friday, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos made his first public appearance since his relationship with Lauren Sanchez went public, but she didn’t accompany him when he accepted an award at the Living Legends of Aviation event in Beverly Hills. However, insiders say that the couple will step out together at the Oscars on February 24th.

“Expect to see Lauren joining Jeff [at the Oscars]. They are an item and very much in love. They were not hiding their relationship and were very relaxed at the [Golden] Globes,” says an inside source.

Bezos and Sanchez attended the Golden Globes just one day before he and his wife MacKenzie announced that they were divorcing after 25 years of marriage. That was also the same day that the news of Bezos and Sanchez’ relationship broke.

In recent years, Amazon has gained the status of being a key Hollywood player, and this has led to Bezos becoming a fixture at the Oscars. And, when he and Sanchez walk the red carpet together, it could take the spotlight away from the various A-listers at the event.

According to Page Six, at last year’s Oscars, Bezos and fellow billionaire, Tesla founder Elon Musk, were the “center of gravity” at an Oscar party co-hosted by Patrick Whitesell, Sanchez’s husband.

Insiders say that Bezos has loved being part of the LA awards scene, and he enjoys attention from celebrities. Amazon has already won Oscars for the movie Manchester by the Sea and the Iranian film The Salesman. And, this year, the streaming service’s Polish film Cold War is a strong contender to win another.

On January 9th, Bezos and his wife, who are the parents of four children, released a joint statement on Twitter announcing their divorce. The former couple wrote that they had a great life together as a married couple. And now, the labels are different, but they “remain a family and cherished friends.”

Hours after their post, the National Enquirer reported that Bezos had been dating Sanchez, his friend’s wife, for eight months. The couple had been spotted together at various hotels and restaurants in five different states. And, MacKenzie Bezos and Patrick Whitesell found out about the affair last fall.

Bezos was wearing his wedding band at the Golden Globes earlier this month. But, when he appeared at the Living Legends of Aviation event, the wedding ring was noticeably missing.

Jeff Bezos and MacKenzie did not have a prenuptial agreement. So, she might end up getting half of his estimated $144 billion net worth since they live in Washington, a community property state.
