Jeff Bridges Says His Tumor Has Decreased In Size Amid His Cancer Battle

Jeff Bridges revealed back in October 2020 that he had been diagnosed with lymphoma, however, in recent news, the actor shared a positive development. In a post from the 6th of January, Page Six noted, Bridges explained how his tumor had “drastically shrunk” in size over the last few months.

Bridges said on his account that he had gone in for a CAT scan and the doctors had noticed that the tumor had shrunk by a lot. It turns out that the treatment has worked and worked well it has.

In December, Jeff shared that he had shaved his head. The actor said at the time that he was “feeling good.”

As it was previously reported, Bridges dropped a few news bombs on his followers, including the fact he had cut off all of his hair, got a new dog, and turned 71-years-old. The Big Lebowski star shared all of the positive developments on his IG.

Back in the fall, The Big Lebowski alum also shared how the cancer diagnosis had made him appreciate the fact that he is human and he’s going to die someday. The actor explained how the diagnosis helped him realize how precious life is.

Also, Bridges noted all of the kind comments and support his fans had sent him. Jeff is the type of actor that, while he has avoided attention and paparazzi, has garnered a significant cult following for his work in movies like The Big Lebowski and more.

Jeff famously portrayed the character, The Dude, in the 1990s comedy flick that starred other big names like Tara Reid. The film has since gone down in history as one of the greatest cult classics of all time.

According to the actor’s Wikipedia page, he has starred in other films like True Grit, The Contender, Thunderbolt and Lightfoot, The Last Picture Show, King Kong, Iron Man, Tron, The Fisher King, The Fabulous Baker Boys, and perhaps most recently, Bad Times at the El Royale.

Jeff has worked in movies that have spanned across many different decades and genres since he first got his start in the business in the late 1950s, although, he did star in a movie in 1951 when he was just a two-year-old child.
