According to a report from Us Weekly, Jenelle Evans was enjoying nature with a chicken this weekend following social media backlash when it was revealed that her husband, David Eason, had killed their dog, Nugget.
The 27-year-old reality star was criticized heavily by people on social media who accused her of not being fit to have children or even animals at all following the death of Nugget. The 30-year-old admitted on the 1st of May that David had their dog put down after it snapped at their 2-year-old daughter.
Evans said to her fans online that she was “heartbroken” over the fact they lost their dog. While people on social media were largely unsympathetic, putting potentially dangerous animals down is common practice, especially in rural areas.
A family with young children simply aren’t willing to have a violent dog around, especially one that is a threat to toddlers. On the 7th of May, Tuesday, it was revealed by Us Weekly that MTV had chosen to no longer work with Jenelle Evans.

A spokesperson from MTV confirmed her termination from the series in a statement. The representative said they had “no plans to cover her story in the upcoming season.” Speaking with Us Weekly again in the past, the reality star said she was open to the idea of divorcing Eason.
“I’m working to fix my marriage as well and moving forward,” the young mother explained. As fans of Jenelle know, she has a 9-year-old son with her ex-boyfriend, Andrew Lewis, as well as a 4-year-old with her former husband, Nathan Griffith.
This wouldn’t be the first time Jenelle has experienced controversy. Her husband was eliminated from the series as well following allegedly homophobic tweets.
The cast of Teen Mom has featured many controversial figures, including Farrah Abraham, who subsequently filed a lawsuit against Viacom, MTV’s owners, for supposed sexual discrimination. Putting aside the history of other Teen Mom stars, it’s clear that Jenelle and David will no longer work with MTV, at least for now.
