Jenna Dewan's Divorce Was Worse Than Anyone Knew — Has Found Joy With Steve Kazee

Jenna Dewan’s divorce was worse than anyone knew, according to a report in the upcoming March 9, 2020, issue of Star magazine. The dancer and actress was married to Channing Tatum, from 2009 until 20018 (their divorce just finalized) and share custody of six-year-old daughter Everly. Channing moved on with Jessie J and Jenna found love with Steve Kazee. Though pregnant and reportedly engaged early on, the two didn’t make a public announcement about their engagement until Jenna’s divorce with Channing was finalized. Jenna and Steve are overjoyed that she is now finally free to move on with her life and marry Steve. Both have gushed about their love on their social media accounts and refer to each other as being the love of their lives (sorry Channing).

Jenna shared her engagement announcement on Instagram the same day her divorce was finalized — February 18, 2020. Steve Kazee can’t stop posting about his love for Jenna on his Instagram account and a source reported to Star that he is deeply romantic and traditionally-minded man who even asked Jenna’s father for permission to marry his daughter!

Steve Kazee shared the same photo on his Instagram page and encluded lyrics from the Water Liars “Let It Breathe” to Jenna.

“When you wake in the morning I will kiss your face with a smile no one has ever seen.
When you wake in the morning I will kiss your eyes and say it’s you I have loved all these years.”

According to Star magazine’s source, the timing of Jenna’s and Steve’s engagement announcement was strategically planned for the day her divorce was finalized.

The source stated the following.

“Jenna and Steve have been engaged for a while, but they were waiting to announce it until the divorce was settled. Steve actually asked her father for permission! He treats Jenna and Evie like gold. Everyone simply adores him.”

Continuing, the source added when speaking about Jenna’s grueling divorce, “It was worse than anyone knows. She’s ready to move on.”
