Jennifer Aniston And Justin Theroux Are Still Friendly, Despite Reports Of Feuding

We are all familiar with #relationshipgoals, but could Justin Theroux and Jennifer Aniston be #divorcegoals? A year ago, the actors announced that they had split after two years of marriage, but just because Theroux and Aniston are divorced, it doesn’t mean they can’t be friends.

Two days after Aniston’s A-list filled bash at Sunset Tower in Los Angeles, The Leftovers star wished his ex-wife a happy 50th birthday on the day of her actual birth with an Instagram post that featured a black-and-white pic of Aniston and a sweet message.

Theroux didn’t make it to Aniston’s party, but she still had a star-studded celebration. The guest list included Reese Witherspoon, Kate Hudson, Gwyneth Paltrow, Robert Downey Jr., Jason Bateman, Jon Hamm, Katy Perry, Ellen DeGeneres, Orlando Bloom, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, and Chelsea Handler.

But, the most famous and surprising party guest was Aniston’s first husband, Brad Pitt. Even though it has been almost 15 years since their divorce, Pitt showed up for a quick visit to show his ex some support. Insiders say the two spoke briefly, he gave her a card and then they shared a hug before Pitt headed home early.

Insiders say that Pitt and Aniston have been friendly for years, and the two have “a very civil relationship.”

“The important people in her life gathered to celebrate with her,” says an insider. “Brad fits into that group, and it was natural that he would want to come.”

According to Us Weekly, Aniston’s original plan for her birthday was to take a vacation, but friends convinced the Dumplin’ star to change her mind.

“She originally didn’t want to celebrate her birthday with a ‘party’ and prefers the idea of a trip away, but her friends and family said she should do both,” explained an insider.

An industry source says that it should come as no surprise to fans that Aniston’s party had so many A-list guests. The source explains that Aniston “has this glow about her,” and the actress “knows how to make people feel special.”

They went on to say that Aniston is very low-key and sweet, and she always acknowledges everyone she works with, from the production assistants to the executives.

Jennifer Aniston’s latest project Murder Mystery – a film she stars in with Adam Sandler – is currently in post-production, and will premiere on Netflix later this year.
