Jennifer Aniston is ready to start dating again thanks to the support and encouragement from her closest friends. And, as the 50-year-old gets back out into the singles scene, she is getting nostalgic about her past relationships and her time on the hit sitcom Friends.

Aniston starred as Rachel Green from 1994 to 2004, and she says that she misses a lot about that time in her life.

“Having a job that was absolute, pure joy. I miss getting to be with people I love massively and respect beyond words,” Aniston told In Style. “So yes, these days I’m super nostalgic. Anything can make me go ‘Aww.’ Even Fred Segal, I guess. I don’t know why that one got me.”

Aniston added that she started to find her confidence when she was on Friends, and she also found comfort in being part of an ensemble cast. She says they held each other up after the show became an unexpected hit.

The cast became massive stars overnight, and Aniston says that everyone was “wide-eyed and bushy-tailed” at the time. She explained that they couldn’t believe it was happening, and they had no idea what was coming.

During the interview, Aniston also talked about a pic that her co-star Courteney Cox recently shared on Instagram. It featured the entire cast – Aniston, Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matthew Perry, David Schwimmer, and Matt LeBlanc – on a private jet together before Friends premiered on NBC.

When looking at the nostalgic pic, Aniston remembers that she had no understanding at that time that this was now her life.

Fifteen years after the show ended its run, Aniston is still close friends with Cox and Kudrow, and they have encouraged Aniston to start dating again a little more than a year after her split from Justin Theroux.

However, for fans who are hoping that Aniston would rekindle her romance with her first husband, Brad Pitt, they will be disappointed. An insider says that even though Aniston and Pitt are both currently single, they are just friends.

“She continues to stay in touch with Brad and they occasionally talk. They both have come so far,” said the source.
