Jennifer Aniston Will Love Brad Pitt 'Until She Dies'

It’s been nearly 15 years since Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt split after five years of marriage, and there are still plenty of shippers who can’t stop talking about their relationship and the possibility that the exes could one day get back together. To add fuel to that fire, an interview recently surfaced that Aniston gave back in 2005 just weeks before her divorce was final, and she claimed that she would love Pitt until she dies.

Aniston didn’t hold back during her interview with Vanity Fair, revealing that she and Pitt believed in different things, and you can’t force a relationship. She was obviously heartbroken over the split, but it also hurt to see Pitt and Angelina Jolie traveling the world together with paparazzi capturing their every move.

However, that didn’t mean Aniston loved Pitt any less.

“I still feel so lucky to have experienced it. I wouldn’t know what I know now if I hadn’t been married to Brad,” she says. “I love Brad; I really love him. I will love him for the rest of my life. He’s a fantastic man. I don’t regret any of it, and I’m not going to beat myself up about it.”

Aniston went on to say that she and Pitt taught each other a lot during their “beautiful, complicated relationship,” and she was sad to see it reduced to a Hollywood cliché.

The Friends alum admitted that she didn’t think at the time that she and Pitt split because of Jolie, so seeing the pictures of her ex with the Tomb Raider star immediately after their breakup shocked her. Jolie later confessed that her relationship with Pitt started on the set of Mr. & Mrs. Smith while he was still married to Aniston.

 Aniston said it was humiliating and hurtful to see Pitt flaunting his new instant family, but ultimately what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.

Of course, now Aniston and Pitt are both single after her divorce from Justin Theroux and his divorce from Jolie. There are no signs that Pitt and Aniston have rekindled their romance, even if she does still love him.
