Previously, in 2017, both David and Jen signed an order which demanded both parties stay completely silent and refrain from telling the media anything. Moreover, they voluntarily agreed from talking about the case on social media as well.

Thus far, the details of their custody agreement as well as who gets the rights to the children hasn’t been revealed. Starting in November of 2017, David and Hudson already started fighting that year when Hudson asked the court for a restraining order against the former wrestler.

A representative on her behalf, speaking with E! News, said they had been “in the process of ending their relationship for a number of months.” The rep added that Jennifer was merely making the best decisions possible on her son’s behalf.

David’s lawyer, however, accused Jennifer of filing a restraining order to make David look bad and also get a leg up in the custody battle. Around that time, Jennifer accused David of becoming increasingly aggressive and hostile, including the infliction of “physical and mental abuse.”

Moreover, she accused David of making their son use his iPad to show if there were any other men in the home. He also had a gun in the house which made her feel unsafe. David’s attorney-at-law accused the star of making false allegations for the sake of creating an unfair advantage in the court system.

David, through his lawyer, released a statement in which he said he was looking forward to their day in court so he could get rights to residential care of the child.
