Jennifer Lawrence Finally Engaged To Cooke Maroney Following Her Latest Breakup

According to People.com, Jennifer Lawrence is getting ready for marriage with her boyfriend who she just started dating around a year ago. People reports that it actually has been less than a year, as a matter of fact. The publication claims Jennifer’s representative confirmed the news earlier on Tuesday.

The 28-year-old Hollywood star and her 33-year-old boyfriend allegedly met back in June through one of Lawrence’s friends. Reportedly, Mr. Maroney works as the New York Gladstone Gallery art director, and their relationship is going “swimmingly.”

This comes after Page Six reported that an anonymous individual saw Jennifer Lawrence rocking an engagement ring on her left ring finger while eating at a French restaurant in New York City. Shortly before meeting Cooke, Lawrence dated the critically acclaimed director, Darren Aronofsky, who just got off of his hated movie, mother!

It’s important to note, however, that Darren’s movie was loved by critics. It was just hated by the people who watched it. Currently, the movie has a great rating on Rotten Tomatoes abut a terrible rating with average viewers.

Jennifer was linked to the director from 2016 until November 2017. Some people on social media suggested that their relationship was merely tabloid conjecture for the sake of promoting Darren’s newest movie, and perhaps that was true because not long after the movie’s premiere, they broke up.

This wouldn’t be the first time J-Law’s romance has been at the center of rumors and headlines. Previously, it was rumored that she may have played a role in Chris Pratt’s breakup with his ex-wife, Anna Faris, however, other insiders claimed their romance’s demise had more to do with “professional jealousy” than anything else.

Putting that all aside, it’s great to see J-Law getting engaged with a man she loves after a few botched relationships. Since her massive success in Hunger Games and Silver Linings Playbook, Jennifer has become one of the most hailed and in-demand actresses around.

Her latest movie was the critically lukewarm but financially successful, Red Sparrow, as well as Dark Phoenix, which is scheduled for release later this year.
