Angelina is linking her mental health decline back to 2017 when she suffered an injury at work. The small woman was attempting to save the life of a 450 pound man when she tore her whole back trying to lift him.

She explained to Life and Style Mag that although she still works as an EMT for the city of New York, she hasn’t been the same since the incident that changed her forever.

“It’s been a struggle. I am not the same. I’ve been struggling with depression due to a lot going on in my life. And sometimes it doesn’t even have to be anything, I just get depressed out of nowhere.”

Pivarnick revealed that most of the time she goes to sleep at 6 p.m because of it.

“No one knows [how much it can] affect your relationships at home with your loved ones and just you as a person. I want people out there to know they aren’t alone and to get the help they need. If they ever want to talk, message me.”

The 32-year-old is seeking treatment but doesn’t feel that it’s helping yet because it’s so new. Angelina revealed in the past that being around her cats sometimes lifts her spirits.

Additionally, the support of ‘Jersey Shore’ fans helps her in her time of need.

“I think America loves me now. I am a new Angelina, and I am happy America has seen the real me. I can’t wait for them to see more of me soon.”
