The Sorrentino brothers won’t be having a family affair in prison. Both were convicted and sentenced to prison time for tax evasion charges but will not be completing their bids in the same locations.
Marc Sorrentino was ordered to serve two years in the feds. He previously told fans that he would be at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey but it turns out he was sent to a more dangerous facility at FCI Fairton.
According to Radar Online, it was nearly a year ago when an inmate who was serving time for entering the US illegally was killed after an altercation!
Meanwhile, his little brother, ‘Jersey Shore’ star Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino, will be counting his days until freedom at FCI Otisville in New York. The cushy facility includes a wider menu choice and a Bocce court where the newly married man is expected to get the five-star treatment considering the fact he’s a celebrity — not to mention his prison sentence is significantly shorter at only eight months.

Although he’s only been on the inside a few days, Mike seems to be confirming the rumors that he’ll be living the prison high life when he sent a message to fans that he’s doing great.
A message posted to his Twitter page read: “Hi Everyone,it’s Lauren. Mike would like to thank all of his fans worldwide for the unbelievable outpouring of love & support. We speak everyday & he’s doing great. He’s received thousands of letters, he won’t be able to respond to everyone but wanted to express his gratitude to each and everyone of you. Thank you from the both of us; it is truly heartwarming to have this support during this time. Lots of Love, Michael & Lauren Sorrentino.”
What do you think about the differences between Marc and Mikes incarceration experiences? Is it unfair?
